Over a decade ago, Indagare started the Indagare Souk as a way to share the designers and artists we met while on the road with our community. We used to host pop up trunk shows bringing together designers from all over the world. Since the pandemic hit, many have asked us to start hosting virtual souks. Thus far, we have hosted two virtual souks live from designer Anna Trzebinski's studio in Nairobi, Kenya at Hotel Eden, from The Retreat in Kigali, Rwanda with hotel owner Alissa Ruxin and various artisans, from Jaipur and Delhi with lifestyle specialist and textile expert Marcella Echavarria and three Indian designers, and from Marrakech at the boutique property Jnane Tamsna with international tastemaker, Meryanne Loum-Martin and various Moroccon designers.
