What is a Private Journey with Indagare?
An Indagare Private Journey is a trip tailored for you to see the world's most special places through access to extraordinary experiences and some of the tastemakers that are defining, creating and protecting them. Drawing from expert destination knowledge and scouting intelligence, the Indagare Trip Design Team will plan a private itinerary that takes care of the details, so you don’t have to worry about planning.
Leveraging dynamic itineraries in popular destinations, the Indagare Trip Design Team will plan a private trip for your special group and include top hotels, transfers, reservations and a selection of our favorite experiences and expert guides.

How long is the trip?
These trips typically run five to 10 nights, depending on the destination.
What is the minimum group size?
In order to execute the Private Journey, a minimum of six travelers is required for Mexico City, Morocco, Cambodia and India. For Galápagos, a full buy out of the vessel (9 cabins) is required.
What if I am traveling with fewer than the minimum?
If you are traveling with fewer than the minimum in your group, Indagare will be happy to assist you in planning a custom trip. An Indagare customized trip includes the services of Indagare’s expert Trip Design team to plan and handle all details for peace of mind (value of $925 for one complimentary trip planned). Is airfare included?
No, flights are not included in the price estimate provided.
Are meals included?
Most Private Journeys itineraries will include the majority of meals—daily breakfast will be included, as will a number of lunches and dinners. For longer trips, the itineraries may include a few afternoons or evenings when guests are free to dine at their leisure. All itineraries are able to accommodate vegetarian, gluten or allergy restrictions.
What does it cost?
Each Private Journey is priced separately, depending on the destination. Reservations can be made for single occupancy or double occupancy, and some trips will offer a choice of accommodation categories (such as double room, junior suite, or one-bedroom suite).
What about health and safety?
The health and safety of all guests is our top priority. Indagare Travel will closely monitor global developments and will adjust trip destinations and trip itineraries as necessary. Guests will receive updates on exit and entry requirements, health and safety precautions, and ground conditions.
What about international flights, travel insurance and pre- or post- travel extensions that use a Trip Designer?
Indagare’s Trip Designers can help with travel reservations for flights and for hotels before or after Private Journeys as well as provide quotes for travel insurance.
