Expect Potential EU Border Delays Starting April 10

While the EU’s new digital Entry/Exit System (EES) began rolling out in October 2025, it will be fully operational across the Schengen area on April 10. Travelers should be prepared for potential delays of up to three or four hours at border control as the system is fully implemented.
